Summer adventure is right around the corner, and we’re excited to invite your Scout to Cub Scout World at Camp Rokilio this summer! We have a super fun prehistoric theme this year and all the young fossil hunters (and their young-at-heart parents) are encouraged to sign-up soon!

Camp Rokilio offers a three-night, four-day experience designed especially for Cub Scouts — the perfect introduction to overnight camp. Each session is packed with age-appropriate activities, caring leadership, and a safe, structured environment where Scouts can build confidence and have fun. If a family can’t stay for all three nights, they can choose to leave early. We want families to have the flexibility necessary to ensure every Cub Scout (Tiger rank and above) can attend Cub Scout World who wants to.

What families love about Camp Rokilio:

·  Flexible session options (Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday

·  Supervised safe and fun programs led by trained staff

·  Activities that promote teamwork, independence, and creativity

·  Healthy and nutritious meals prepared and served in a central dining facility

·  Four fun theme-based dormitories (Fort, Castle, Train Station, and Viking Ship

·  Opportunities for Cub Scouts to try new and exciting activities like BB guns, archery, sling-shots, paddle boats, nine-square-in-the-air, water rockets, obstacle courses, “axe” throwing, junior paleontology, and fun games galore!

Registration is now open, and sessions do fill quickly. We encourage you to review session dates with you Pack’s Adult Leadership and ask them to secure your Scout’s spot early.

Sessions 1, 3, and 5 are provisional sessions, meaning if your Cub Scout’s Pack isn’t going as a unit, you and your child can attend provisionally. We will camp you with other families who are also attending provisionally. This is a great opportunity to not miss out on Cub Scout Summer Camp if you have a conflict during the session your Pack is attending.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training (IOLS) is happening on 5/2/26 at the Bear Paw Spring Camporee! IOLS builds and expands on the concepts introduced in Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training and provides Scouters with the confidence to take youth into the outdoors. Specifically, this hands-on program gives adult leaders a practical introduction to the patrol method of a Scout-led troop by teaching many of the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the outdoors. In addition, the teaching methods, activities, and games model the variety of teaching used in effective and engaging Scouting programs.

This training is required for all Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, to be officially trained in their positions.

Let's get outside and experience the outdoor adventure of Camp Rokilio on Saturday, May 16, 2026! The Rokilio Experience is an exciting introduction to the meaning of summer camp, with an opportunity for youth and parents to see camp in action. Parents & youth will experience their first adventure at Camp Rokilio together in this one-day event filled with exciting activities including; archery, BB Gun range, sling shots, capture the flag, and several more fun-filled activities. Games and activities may include open field games such as poison ball and disc golf, 9 square in the air, ga-ga ball, nature activity, and many other games and activities! Extra experiences include: blacksmithing, outdoor dutch oven cooking, story telling, and gem mining!

Tour the camp and see our theme buildings (Kohler Castle, JJ Keller Fort, Oertle Train Station, and Gunderson Viking Ship). What is a theme building? Come join us and find out. If you have thought about and dreamed of summer camp, the Rokilio Experience is created just for you. You'll also learn about and, potentially, tour the infamous Camp Rokilio bog with a self-guided tour (weather dependent).
